Save the date: the Great Burrito Crawl is back

Mark your calendar. On Saturday, October 18th, six local burrito shops are opening their doors for the third annual Burrito Crawl, starting at noon at La Ventanita and ending wherever your appetite gives out.

This year's route includes two new stops that weren't part of the crawl last year, added after enough people asked why they'd been left off. Each shop will have a smaller, crawl-specific portion available so you can actually make it through more than two stops without needing a nap halfway through.

Tickets are pay-as-you-go this year rather than a flat entry fee, since a few people last year pointed out they didn't want to commit to all six stops in advance. A printed map with suggested order and estimated walking time between shops will be handed out at the first stop.

Last year's crawl brought out a little over two hundred people, and more than a few showed up not knowing each other and left comparing notes on their favorite stop of the day. If you've got a burrito opinion you've been sitting on all year, October 18th is the day to argue about it in person.
