Question

What drinks work for a burrito dinner party — non-alcoholic options included?

I'm hosting a dinner with eight people, roughly half of whom don't drink alcohol. I want to serve something interesting and appropriate alongside a burrito spread rather than just beer or water. What are good options for both groups?

For alcohol: a pitcher of classic margarita (fresh lime, tequila, Cointreau, served over ice without salt — people can add salt themselves). Light Mexican lager is also always right alongside spicy food. For non-alcoholic: a hibiscus agua fresca and a tamarind agua fresca — make both so there's variety. Both are visually impressive and completely appropriate. Mexican sparkling water (Topo Chico if you can find it) is also an excellent non-alcoholic at a Mexican food dinner.

Michelada as a half-alcoholic option: Mexican beer with lime, Worcestershire, hot sauce, and salt over ice. Some people make them very mild (almost just beer and lime) and others make them very spiced. It bridges the two groups — mild enough for people who want a lighter drink, interesting enough for people who want something beyond just beer.
